Analytics (optional)
If you accept analytics, we measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Collection is first-party only (no Google Analytics or ad networks).
- Visitor and session IDs stored in your browser (
localStorage/sessionStorage) - Pages viewed, referrers, UTM campaign tags, device/browser class, language, timezone, scroll and time-on-page
- Outbound link and download clicks; contact-form submit success/failure (not the form contents via analytics)
- On our servers: a one-way hash of your IP address (not the raw IP), plus the events above
Analytics runs only after you click Accept on the consent banner. You can change that anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. Declining clears the analytics IDs from your browser.
Contact form
If you send a message, we process the details you provide (name, company, email, and related fields) to respond and, where relevant, to create a CRM lead. That processing is based on your request / our legitimate interest in answering inquiries — separate from optional analytics consent.
Hosting and retention
The site and analytics database are hosted on infrastructure operated by Velia in Switzerland. We keep analytics for operational reporting and improve the site; contact records are kept as needed for business correspondence. You may ask us about access, correction, or deletion at info@veliashift.com.
Essential storage
Remembering your Accept/Decline choice uses browser storage so we do not ask on every page load. That preference storage is limited to consent management.
